Special Education Services :-

Special Education Services include preparation of specially designed curriculum to meet unique needs of children with Intellectual Disability, Cerebral Palsy, Autism and Multiple Disabilities. Specially designed teaching learning material and teaching methods are used to optimize the educational potentials of children with MR, C.P, Autism and MD Children with Intellectual Disability, C.P, Autism and MD are assessed with use of functional approach. Individualized educational programme with periodic evaluation have been followed for the children attending special education classes. Low cost teaching materials are designed for increasing effectiveness of teaching and learning process. Curricular activities are taught with special emphasis on making them as independent as possible.

Vocational Training and Placement Services :-

These services aim at providing adequate support to adults with Intellectual Disability and/or associated disabilities in leading an independent life. The skili training includes assessment of generic skills and job specific skills followed by drawing of a detailed vocational profile in order to identify training needs and to prepare the vocational training programme accordingly.

Programme of Stitching and Embroidary works :-

This program has a dual benefit of improvement in co-ordination and domestic skills. This opens the doors of professional independence also. Their stitching outcome is also displayed in different exhibitions so that they get professional opportunities according to their caliber.

Programme of Training in Domestic work services :-

To train children in domestic work related activities, especially for female children, training in domestic works has been started. Infrastructure facilities compressing of kitchen utensils, gas stove and other equipments have been provided. Students are trained in skill related to domestic works which helps them to perform house hold chores cleanliness and hygiene. This also helps them to adjust in the family and society.

• Programme of Training in Vocational Traits (File Making, Candle making & Disposal Bowl Making) :-

In our institute special children are receiving training in various vocational traits such as File making, Candle making & Disposal Bowl making). These skill training has benefit of improvement in co-ordination, motor skills, vocational skill etc. The vocational unit povide a bridge for the easy transition of persons with special needs from school to work, keeping in mind the aptitude and physical and mental ability of each individual.
